Paris Peace Forum : A Global Platform for Governance

French President Emmanuel Macron announced that an international forum gathering several heads of state, NGOs, multilateral organizations and actors of the civil society will be held on November 11 in Paris to commemorate the centenary of the 1918 armistice. 

Organized jointly by Sciences Po, the Körber Foundation, the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, the Institut français des relations internationales (IFRI), the Montaigne Institute and the French Foreign Affairs Ministry, the Paris Peace Forum is designed to encourage global governance solutions in five key issues: peace and security, environment, development, new technologies, and inclusive econmy. Moreover, this Forum intends to strengthen the efforts of multilateral organisations, such as the United Nations, and help to better implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
